BNL/Drinking
I love you more than I did the week before

The Wife and Catherine often have "contests" or "surveys" on their blogs, so I may as well do the same thing.
Tell me what your favorite sort of alcohol is. If you don't drink alcohol, tell me what your favorite beverage is.
My favorite kind of alcohol is Guinness. I tried it first in London, in a pub near the Thames with Friar Dave, when I was twenty. I barely broke the foam. I tried it again a week after my twenty-first birthday, and it was marginally better. Now it's just about the only beer I'll drink; if I'm not in the mood to drink real beer, I drink Heineken; "Heineken" is Dutch for "water."
When I'm not drinking alcohol, which is most of the time, I'm rather accustomed to drinking tea. If you've read this blog for any amount of time, you'll know that already. My favorite tea variety at this point is Stash's English Breakfast Tea. Most of the time I drink Lipton tea because my folks got me a box of it for Christmas. A few weeks ago my aunt gave me a cup of Tazo Calm that was rather good. All of these are, of course, consumed with milk and a copious amount of sugar; only a savage drinks tea without milk in it.
Post it up, wankers!

Well, since I had to stop drinking dark beer, my favorite alcoholic beverage is Heineken.
Dark beer makes me fatter much quicker, thanks to the large quantities I'm usually consuming.
Le sigh.
I can’t stand beer. Something about the taste I just can’t handle. So when I drink I usually stick to Vodka. Every now and then I will have a gin and tonic. Any mixed drink is good and on occasion I will drink Vodka straight (I don’t recommend it).
Since I don’t drink too often my other choices would be Diet Rootbeer or Diet Sprite. Not too much of a fan of regular pop. Though of regular pop Mr Pibb is the best. If they made Diet Pibb that would be the only thing I would drink. Other than pop I enjoy various juices and water (I drink water all day at work).
For Tea, my favorite would have to be Earl Grey (because of ST:TNG). I have never had milk in it though (so I guess I am a savage) and I tend to use sugar alternatives. I’m not sure about the add milk thing it seems a bit odd to me. I guess I’ll just have to give it a try.
I used to drink a lot of root beer, but I've largely given up soda, and only drink it very occasionally.
As for your tea comment, mate... Before I went to England I'd never had milk in my tea, and I used to have Irish Breakfast Tea (still a good choice) with honey in it, which worked well if I did it right. Milk makes tea absolutely wonderful, I tell you what.
I've had Earl Grey a couple of times, and didn't much care for it. English Breakfast is much better.
Well, I'm proud to say I havn't had a alcoholic drink since Nov. 28th, 2004. That after coming to the conclusion I was an alcoholic. Prior to that, any ice filtered beer or rum/coke. Now I prefer diet pepsi/coke, and am enjoying coffee more. But it keeps me up!
Hey, good on you, Poor-Con! Tea's better, though. You should really give it a try.
