A Sunday Gift

Oh, hell yes. I can remember in the late eighties, every night, pretty much without fail, my brother and I would watch the television every night with my dad. It was always the same lineup: Cheers at 19:30, and Night Court at 19:30. Well, this weekend TV Land is running a Night Court marathon to celebrate (read: advertise) their acquisition of Night Court. To this, I say "Booyeah!"

Also, the reference to CHeers reminds me of this dig at actress Shelley Long...

Homer: Where's that waitress of yours?
Moe: Oh, she left to pursue a movie career. Frankly, I think she was better off here.

Ahhhh, memories, both old and new, how I cherish them. (I just caught the Shelley Long reference on a recent screening of "Flaming Moe".)
