Come, Solstice, Come

Ugh. I can't wait for the Solstice to come, it's getting light out far too early for my tastes.

So, I've been negligent in my blogging lately. Today's not going to be much different. Here's a list of a few of the things that I did this weekend instead of writing up a blog post.

  • I did a reading/listening exercise with سورة الفتح‎ (Surat al Fath, "The Victory").
  • I cooked more lamburger helper, because I am awesome.
  • I put up the following posters in my living/dining areas: The Brilliant Earth, its daytime equivalent, a Hammond Middle East map, and a National Geographic world map from around 1995.
  • I repaired a tear in the U2 poster that Gus and St. Jen gave me a couple of years ago. They're good friends. They will be there 'til the bitter end.
  • I went to a fabulous USO show at the beach, that was fabulous despite the complete absence of Big Gay Al. (Sparky! No!)
  • I enjoyed something on the order of five beers.
  • I went to church.
  • I went grocery shopping.
  • I got some progress done on my webpage/archive project.

So, that was my weekend. I have a couple of videos to entertain you, and then a few links to entertain you. Enjoy. If your name is Mighty Mo, you need to watch the Glowing Monkeys video. It will be your daily LOL.

    Awesome. Here are those links.

  • [Secretary of Defense] Gates Hails Soldier Snapped in Pink Boxer Shorts (Fox)
  • If Spam E-mail Headers were Depicted Literally
  • Cracked: 6 Incredible Real World Supervillain Lairs
  • Cracked: A Series of E-mails from Cyberdyne's Tech Guy - If you're a terminator fan, this is a must-read.
  • BONUS: Canada Governor General Eats Seal Heart (AP, Guardian, Times) - Seriously, that's hardcore and awesome.

Alright, that's it for today. Have a fantastic Monday, and I hope that you're all as productive today as I was this weekend.
