Sunnidiocy
If this weren't so aggravating, it would be comical.
And the money shot?
The Shi'is and the Kurds voted in droves, and even a lot of Sunnis voted. It was known from the outset that the Sunnis wouldn't be a majority vote because they're not a majority of the country. If the will of the Shi'is is reflected, then that is the will of the people.
Bottom line? These wankers are just flapping their guns. They're the ones who recommended boycotts, so the illegitimacy comes from their claims, not the election itself.
A leading group of Iraqi Sunni clerics have said the country's landmark election lacks legitimacy as so many Sunnis did not take part in the vote.
The clerics had encouraged Sunnis to boycott the elections because of the presence of US and foreign troops.
And the money shot?
[T]he Association of Muslim Scholars says any government elected in the poll will not reflect the people's will.
"These elections lack legitimacy because a large segment of different sects, parties and currents with their influence in Iraq boycotted," the association said in a statement.

Now come on, you cant see the logic in people who boycotted the election to later declare it to be illegitimate? :o)
Oh the desperation of the liberals in the media who are actually airing these arguments, huh?
I am sure John Kerry (and only Kerry) has the nuance to understand the plight of the Sunnis. LOL
Saw your comment on the Snippet re: social security. Totally agree with you. One day America- and really the entire west- will have to come to terms that we cant all have a nanny state.
