Rewards to the Faithful

I am a university graduate. Or at least, I will be.

I went to see an advisor in the College of Liberal Arts today, and explained my situation. I asked if it was worth the effort to petition for my grading status to be changed back to letter grade status. She said that they almost never did that... But, if I brought in a certification of the grade from the registrar's office, she could essentially submit a waiver. I don't need the credits, and I essentially passed the course. This way I won't get the credits, but I won't be required to retake the course.

You read that right, folks. Except for the overdue papers, I'm good to go. And this will make it a lot easier to get them done, since I'll only have the Arabic courses, and those I'm only sitting in on.

Also, I won't have to pay for four credits of math all over again, and I won't be stuck in College City through the end of August. That makes it far more likely that I'll be able to get back to England and put in some hard work, and make myself some money to get started on.

This is pretty huge, folks. Pretty huge indeed.
