The K is for Kwality!
I'll be busy most of the day, so I'll leave you folks with some quality reading material. First, there's a paper about Ahmed ibn Fadlan, an Islamic diplomat from the tenth century and the main character of Michael Crichton's Eaters of the Dead. If you're in the mood for something funny, why not read the script to either (or both) of the great Simpsons episodes: New Kids on the Blecch (the Navy recruiting episode), or You Only Move Twice, the episode where Homer became the unwitting minion of first class Bond villain Hank Scorpio.
For those of you who don't know, that second Simpsons episode is a take-off on the title of one of Ian Fleming's James Bond novels, You Only Live Twice, which inspired the 1967 film, quite possibly my favorite Connery Bond film. It's where the reference, "In Japan, men always come first, women come second" came from, later to be given an addendum by Austin Powers: "... Or sometimes not at all!"
