Jackassery

This is a post that will likely make Sara wince, but I found it hilarious, and my primarily right wing readers will as well. I'm watching the History Channel, since I'm avoiding any television or radio that has any news element to it. They're doing a run-down of all the presidents of the United States. Apparently Andrew Jackson, who was one of the first Democrats (vice Republican Democrats, Democratic Republicans, and Federalists), was called by his political opponents a "Jackass". Jackson liked the image so much, he did precisely what you'd expect a crazy old general to do.

He adopted it as the mascot of the Democratic party.
