Hiring Status
I got this last night.
I replied with my mobile phone number and the times that are best to contact me. I'll probably try calling him around 14:30 this afternoon if he hasn't called by then. The point, I suppose, is that at least someone is mildly interested in me.
By the time I was done running around yesterday, it was too late and I was too tired and cold to go to work to continue submitting resumes and such. That will continue this evening when I'm at work. I will, of course, keep everyone posted.
And for the record, it would be highly unlikely that I'd take a job with an insurance company in Metropolis, for two reasons: it's for an insurance company, and it's in Metropolis. If given the choice, I'd rather go back to my £15,000 a year blue collar job as a pallbearer and limousine driver in England than move to Metropolis. And I'm not really highly qualified for a big business industry like insurance or banking. But, whatever; if he's going to offer me a $60,000 a year job with full benefits and a purty secretary, I'll consider it.
More later.
