Party Crashers
Apparently the Israeli strategy of executing any Hamas terrorists who dare to show their faces is having some effect.
You may or may not remember back in March, when an attack helicopter ended the life of Hamas "spiritual leader" Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. There's only one flaw in the logic of these Hamas organizers: brainwashing someone, strapping explosives to their chest, and sending them off to kill Jews (or, in many cases, their fellow Muslims) isn't exactly what one would call "leadership".
Palestinian militant group Hamas has abruptly cancelled an anniversary rally fearing Israel may target its leaders.
The rally was to be held on Friday at a large sports stadium in Gaza City. A stage had already been erected, chairs set out and posters pasted on walls.
A spokesman said Hamas was concerned by Israeli threats after a raid on Sunday by the group that killed five troops.
It would "protect the lives of the thousands who take part in the rally each year," Mushir al-Masri said.
