BBC Hypocrisy
This is out and out hypocrisy.
When I was in England last Summer, there were frequent BBC News reports imploring Britons to donate money to help the residents of the Darfur region, who were the victims of genocide. Now it's the United States that's opposing the United Nations for not using the word "genocide"? Completely, totally, unequivocally hypocritical.
The US is standing by its claim that Sudan is committing genocide in the Darfur region, despite a UN report which stopped short of using the term.
Washington called for the United Nations to set up a special court to try those accused of war crimes in the conflict in Sudan.
It also urged the Security Council to consider imposing sanctions on Sudan.
