Chairman Kim Strikes Again
The War Wire (on a freshly updating SpaceWar site) has several stories about Chairman Kim and the revelation this week that the Norks have nukes.
The North Koreans have accused the United States of seeking to invade.
More posturing, that's all. President Bush has no intention of invading North Korea at this point.
In an increasingly rare show of cooperation, the Russian Defense Minister, Sergei Ivanov (names don't get any more Russian than that) has said that the North Koreans have made "the wrong choice" by withdrawing from international negotiations over its nuclear programs.
The North Koreans have accused the United States of seeking to invade.
North Korea on Saturday said the United States was seeking to invade North Korea in order to turn the Korean peninsula into a springboard for its dominance in Asia.
Rodong Sinmun, the official daily of the Stalinist country's ruling Korean Workers Party, also accused Washington of exploiting "human rights" issues in order to cover up its hegemonic agenda.
The comments came two days after Pyongyang said it would no longer engage in multilateral talks aimed at resolving a stand-off over its nuclear programmes, declaring it had made atomic bombs to protect itself against a US attack.
