Drosophilic News Roundup
Well, I suppose it's time for an update and a test of the HTML system. When you last checked up on your intrepid Super Fly, he had another crucibular/crucibulaic week ahead of him. Here's the situation thus far.
Of the two PowerPoint assignments, due at midnight on Monday and Wednesday respectively, the one that was due Monday is done and submitted, and the one that's due tonight at midnight will be finished and submitted by then; by leaving it 'til the last minute, I'll force myself to come back to campus after work tonight, spend some time in the lab, and then hit the gym.
Of one hundred fifty pages (or so) of the Quran with notes for Class 4, due Tuesday at 1430 (plus supplemental readings), I've done about twenty pages. (Maybe?) The rest will be done between now and tomorrow.
The five-to-seven page paper for Class 5 was due Tuesday at 1530; when I posted Monday, it was unstarted, now it's done and submitted. It was probably below par, and I only did one draft, but I really don't care in the slightest.
Class 2 midterm, Wednesday at 1100, done.
Class 3 midterm, Thursday at 1300, needs to be studied for.
Quite a bit of reading, most of which won't be touched, hasn't been touched yet.
As for my social calendar...
Socratic meeting, Monday 1900 was switched to Monday at 1830, it's come and gone.
Tea, Wednesday 1500 with C Dizz has been supplemented with lunch/tea/whatever with Petrus at 1400. I'll leave for that in about an hour and twenty minutes.
Tea, Friday 1000 is still on, and has been supplemented with lunch with Professorius Augustus.
If I survive the day, it'll be an amazing thing. Then again, I'm in the business of amazing.
UPDATE: Suh-weet, the bullets worked! No more goofy asterisks for this Super Fly! (Thanks to Kilroy, who inadvertently taught me how to make them by including them in the HTML sample he provided.)
