Resigned to Change

The Lebanese government has resigned. Now, to most Americans, this will make no sense. How can a government resign? Well, it all has to do with the rules of parliamentary government, which is a system that the United States does not follow. Basically, if we did use the parliamentary model, the Republican party would be the "government" and the opposition party would be the opposition.
