X-Rating

Catherine of Flirt in a Skirt has a standing offer to "R-Rate" anyone who "X-Rates" her blog. She explains:

You, from "X" blog, rate my blog and let me know you've done so in a comment.
In return, I'll R-rate (recipricol) rate you!

So, being the shameless self-promoter (and buddy promoter) that I am, I've enthusiastically added her to the Buddy Blogroll. Unlike a lot of the sites listed on my blogrolls, Flirt in a Skirt is very much user-driven. Having been in operation since November, she's quickly built up an impressive following.

The fun thing about Flirt in a Skirt, other than the envigorating banner and the picture of the gorgeous young British lady herself, is that it's so user-driven. Catherine promotes other people's blogs while simultaneously inviting them to participate in her writing contests, question and answer sessions, et cetera. Being a news blog junkie myself, it's nice to drop on in for a few minutes to relax my brain with something fun.

While I should probably establish some sort of drosophilic rating system (that is, relating to flies), I'll have to use asterisks for now, and I give the lovely Catherine of Flirt in a Skirt [***./*****] (that's three and a half stars out of five).

Now, if I'm lucky, she'll let me put a "Flirt in a Shirt" banner on Thus Saith the Fly... Or maybe she'll have to come up with something a bit different for me and my kilt?
