Drosophilic Shopping Spree
Well, I should have come straight to school and gotten to work, but I didn't. Instead, I went to Borders and made the following purchases.
In a further demonstration of my interest in my current job prospect, I purchased The Complete Idiot's Guide to the CIA.
Proving once and for all that I'm an 80's music juggernaut, I bought Belinda Carlisle: Her Greatest Hits (which I'm listening to right now)
And, in a further effort to learn more about the political philosophies that founded the nation I love, I snagged a copy of The Federalist Papers by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay.
Now I have to work on my paper for my diversity class, the better part of a week overdue; I'm taking it pass/fail, so it's not as if it matters, right? Your question for today, wankers, is as follows:
What book (that you've read) has had the biggest impact on your life? I've not read the whole Bible, so I can't cite that. I'd say the two books that have probably had the most impact on my life have been Agricola by Gaius Cornelius Tacitus, and Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein (trust me, it's got very little in common with the film, which was good for other reasons).
Post it up, wankers.
