Too Close
I'm watching The Siege (1998) with Denzel Washington, Bruce Willis, Annette Benning, and Tony Shalhoub. For those of you who live in a cave, it's a film about a series of terrorist attacks in New York City that lead to a declaration of martial law and an Army occupation of the city.
It's a little too real for my tastes.

I didn't care for it too much, I thought it was a bit..well. the Idea of concentration camp for Muslims, I thought was way out there, no way in hell that could happen....well. maybe, but with just a series of bus bombings in NY, No.
Though i DID love Bruce Willis in the movie, thought he was genuine as a solider that knew that things were getting out of control.
Anet Benning... ugh...
Just didn't care for her, and of course the reason for the attacks was George Bushes abandonment of the "swamp Arabs" after the gulf War.
It just didn't sit right with me.
o well...
to each their own...
So is this an example of life imitating art or art imitating life? Seemed far fetched 5 years ago didn't it?
