Condolences Where Due

Thus Saith The Fly offers its condolences to Poosh. For anyone who didn't catch it on the news, the British Labour party won yesterday's election, which means that Prime Minister Tony Blair will serve a third term.

As Poosh can most likely relate better than I, British politics are substantially different than American politics. Many Americans, at least the Americans smart enough to have supported and continued to support the liberation of Iraq, and those smart enough to know who Tony Blair is, think rather highly of him, since he had the grapes to stand up to the United Nations. Labour, the Tories, and the Lib Dems aren't perceived by most Brits to be much different from each other. Poosh would beg to differ on that, I'm sure.

At any rate, I need to continue getting ready for class. Once again, though American's don't tend to have much problem with Blair, my condolences go out to Poosh, who may very well still be down at the pub.
