The Finale
I'm watching the Star Trek: Enterprise finale, and I'm going to be honest: I'm not impressed. There's an asinine tie-in to a sub-par final season episode of The Next Generation. Jonathan Frakes looks like he's put on about fifty pounds, and Marina Sirtis looks like she's put on about fifteen years.
Now they're topping Tucker, who's the most genuine character on the series. The plot's not terribly impressive to begin with. It's writing like this (and lousy producing by guys like Rick Berman) that killed this series, not the actors or the effects.
How frustrating. What a sorry end to something that had so much potential.
