Chapped Backside
What a day. Wow. Wowie wow wow wow.
As I mentioned earlier, I was up early for a farewell breakfast with Colonel Schoutter. Since we frequently poked fun at the overwhelming military prowess of the French, I had French toast. Hilarious? Yes, I thought so as well.
From there I went to Arabic class, and for three hours I learned Arabic. Annoying Girl wasn't there for a second day in the row, and there's speculation that she may have dropped the class for one reason or another. Everyone is hopeful, though it would mean the end of worthwhile comedic material. To be honest with you folks, we'd all make that sacrifice; without going into detail as to the reasoning, if she's rude to the prof one more time, one of my mates is going to have words with her.
After class I met up with Gus, who needed to blow off some steam and do something to keep his mind and body busy; again, I'm not going to go into detail. We hit the gym for about an hour and forty minutes, and my guess is that the past three days of working out in UDT trunks is the cause of some irritation on the back of my legs. My UDT trunks are a few years old, and I've put on some weight, so it may be time to start using the next higher size; luckily, I got a pair of those a couple of months ago.
At any rate, after the gym we met up with the B&C (if you're too stupid to figure out what B&C means, then you're just wrong) and went to the Hawaiian restaurant across the street from campus.
I got back to Hometown and got to work, then changed clothes (having been in Dockers and a dress shirt for the entire day) and worked for a couple of hours. Then I went to Super Dave's place to drop off his LBV that I borrowed a couple of months ago. And now I'm sitting here.
The only other interesting thing that happened today was that Twitley, home from the Wild West for a week, had his tonsils out. Largely unbeknownst to me, he's had strep throat fairly constantly since he got there. Since he was back anyway, mom and dad goaded him into going to the doctor's office, and they quickly assessed the situation and decided to take his tonsils out. That was yesterday. He's doped up and sleeping in his room.
I've got a couple of news stories I want to have a look at and post on; I'm shocked that so few people (just Billy D!) commented on the decline of independence in law enforcement. Overall, though, posting will be light, because I'm absolutely beat.
