Pulchritude Watch: Jewel Staite

Fox prematurely killed a show called Firefly after one season. It was created, produced, et cetera, by Joss Whedon, whose most notable exploit was Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the series with Sarah Michelle Gellar, not the film with Kristy Swanson). Anyway, they've turned it into a film titled Serenity.

At any rate, in both the television series and the movie, the character of Kaylee Frye, Serenity's engineer savant, is played by Jewel Staite. Gorgeous, isn't she? She's from Canada, but then again, so's Carah Canuck, so we won't hold it against her. She's enough reason for me to go see the movie when it comes out on 30th September. Also, I can claim that I beat Bane to posting a picture of Ms. Staite. He's mentioned this film several times, and he's planning to go see it.
