Understanding the Frequency

Sweet merciful glaven. I was at work until about one in the morning. I slept until the sound of nail biters and nose miners across the street woke me up, about an hour and a half prematurely. Now I have to do laundry, get myself presentable, and figure out two or more hours down at the office.

Basically, after three days of accomplishing next to nothing, I feel like a complete derelict. Let's be honest, though; I didn't accomplish much last week, either. Let's make it an even eight. Eight days without a single major accomplishment. Eight days without a successful mission. Good grief.

But I suppose I'll survive. Off with the horns, and on with the show. I'll be easing back into news blogging; there are a couple of important things to discuss, but a lot of the news coverage is still going to be focused at Hurricane Katrina, and let's be honest: there's nothing I can do, so I may as well not dwell on it. So, for starters, it'll be just the tip, just to see how it all feels.

Right then, wankers. I'll be back shortly.
