A Day Without Me

I know that I've posted very little today. I went to campus for a couple of social engagements. Here are a few of my experiences from today.

Per the arrangements of the first friend I was meeting with, an adorable sorority girl who's a junior. We had talked on the phone a few weeks back about hanging out the next time I was on campus, so I called her Sunday when I knew that I was going to be on campus Tuesday. Per her instructions, we were going to meet at the coffee joint in the student union at 09:30, which was an earlier day than I'd planned, but whatever. The outcome? I was stood up; I text-messaged her at 09:45, left at 09:55, and got a text message at 10:41 that read as follows:

Hey! im sorry for not making it. it turns out that my day is really booked.

By this time, I had already written her off, checked on a professor's schedule in my home department, and gone to the radio station to visit the student media secretary. Once I finished there, I went back to check in with the aforementiond professor, dropped off a complimentary copy of the exact archive CD that's on its way to sneaky pete right now, and had him sign a petition to change my grade in one of his classes from an incomplete to something else (it'll be an A).

Once I was done with that, I met up at a novelty food restaurant with Mormon Buddha. We spent about an hour together, chatting about various things, and then I came home. Good enough for government work.

What else will I accomplish today? Let's go find out...
