A Drosophilic Redneck Story

Those of you who know me personally know that in January, my brother Twitley left for Wyoming to go to trade school. In September he was hired by a mine in central Montana to fix machinery and equipment, and then he graduated; in that order. He now lives in central Montana with his hound dog puppy, which happens to have been born on the same day as Jack (our black lab puppy).

Yesterday, Twitley called my dad in order to get the toll free number for Cabela's in order to get their free catalog mailed to him. On a side note, he doesn't have cable, and the transmission in his pickup died a couple of days ago. The result?

"If you're stuck in your house in Montana with your hound dog, without your truck or cable teevee, your girlfriend's several hours drive away, and you're so bored that you use your free weekend cell phone minutes to call your dad in order to get the toll free number for Cabela's so you can get their free catalog, just so you'll have something to do, you might be a redneck.

I just couldn't resist the urge to post this story here at TSTF. Thanks for reading it.
