Following up on yesterday's post, BBC News reports that German unemployment has reached its highest level since reunification in 1990, reaching nearly eleven percent.

And our money needs a shakeup? Germany, along with France, is one of the powerhouses of the European Union. Maybe they should encourage the out-of-work Germans to help the nation convert to a professional military by 2010. They'll need them for the battle groups!
