The Neighbourhood Sweetheart

I lived in a somewhat tight-knit neighbourhood in a semi-small town. A number of my parents' friends lived in the neighbourhood, and when I was in high school I wound up doing some babysitting from time to time. I actually had a steady babysitting job for my first two years of high school for a boy who was two years old when I started and almost four when I finished.

One of the benefits of having a graduation party where all your parents friends are in attendance is that they bring their daughters. One of these, who I'll call Jenny (obviously not her real name), was one of the kids I babysat a couple of times. When I knew her, she was sort of tall for her age, and fairly thin. She was probably the easiest little girl to babysit for: low maintenance to the extreme. I think I babysat for her twice, but I can only remember one time. Her parents rented Jumanji, we watched it, and she went to bed. I was bored enough laying on the couch that I think I eventually fell asleep prior to her parents arriving home. I think they got pizza for us too.

As she got a bit older, I saw Jenny very seldom. She got taller, and was skinny as a rail; still rather quiet, as far as I could tell. Well, during the summer of 2003 we had a dinner party at our home, and Jenny came with her folks. Wow. She must have been about fifteen at the time, and by that time she'd really blossomed into a beautiful young woman.

She and her folks came in two cars last night to the party, so she was there for a bit and I had a couple of minutes to chat with her. She's probably even better looking than I remember her, with long blonde hair and a smokin' body. She's seventeen now, and she'll start her last year of high school in September. If I had to guess, this girl is going to be a hot item on the trophy wife market in a few years. She's gorgeous, friendly, somewhat quiet, and to the best of my knowledge very agreeable.

She's also got an older half brother who could beat you senseless, so I'd better not get any E-Mails asking for more information on her.

A few years ago a friend of mine, also a close friend of Coffee Girl's, sent me a sticker that says "You're never too young to be a dirty old man." Ain't that the truth!
