Gaza Update

Remember that whole Gaza withdrawal thing? You know how the "Palestinians" were going to take control? Well, here are a few updates.

Hamas terrorists have blasted a hole in a wall that's being erected by Egyptian and "Palestinian" troops in order to control and close the border. This is particularly interesting, since you can bet cash money that nobody will try to take the issue of Egyptians building a wall to the International Criminal Court like they did with the Isrealis. Also, it proves that the thugs in Hamas aren't "freedom fighters", but terrorists, since they're attacking a wall that was built by their fellow Arabs. You'll also note that, like the Israeli barrier wall, this is to keep "Palestinians" out, not in. It's nothing like the Berlin Wall, which the Israeli wall is frequently and erroneously compared to.

It also appears that Israelis aren't the only ones who have to resort to violence when enforcing their border security; "Palestinian" security forces have fired into the air while being assaulted with stones by "Palestinian" settlers attempting to cross over into Egypt.

Even so, Mahmoud Abbas claims that anarchy is done. I'm onboard with Mahmoud Abbas, but I'm not holding my breath quite yet.

And, of course, through it all, Hamas is there, holding prayer rallies. They're (erroneously) claiming credit for the Israeli withdrawal, and to repeat a popular phrase describing those who are rightfully or unrightfully arrogant: "There'll be no living with them after this."
