Winding Down
Well, I apologize; Sister Hippy Chick and I went to College City to have lunch and paint pottery, and when I came back the blog wouldn't load, at all. I didn't even bother seeing if I could post or not. Either way, now I can post, and now the blog is displaying again. Good enough for me.
Some of you will have heard by now about the debacle with the first pottery painting incident. Today was much more successful; I went in with a plan, and by the time I was finished, I had an adeptly painted tile with a creatively painted fly, "The Fly" written in four languages along the border, and "The Fly" written in English in a pattern of my own design on reverse corners. If it turns out the way I think it will, I'll buy one of their wooden boxes and have them affix the tile into the hinged lid. Whether it turns out well or not, I'll try to get a picture of it and post it.
