Wouldn't bet on it, Fly. Most of the Arab world is against any peace. The only thing they are content with is extermination. Look for an assasination...
Could be, but two thirds of the Palestinians voted for this guy. They voted for him when he had already apologized to Kuwait. They voted for him when he'd been so opposed to Yasser Arafat's conduct and cronies that he couldn't even work with them.
I know that the term "cautiously optimistic" is a bit of a cliche cop-out, but that's how I feel about this situation.
