Progenitrix

This is a picture of my great-great-great grandmother. She was my father's mother's mother's father's mother. It was on account of her frail health that that particular branch of my family tree was transplanted from the Midwest (Wisconsin or Illinois or something) to the West Coast. Her grave is on the edge of town, next to her husband, her son, her daughter-in-law, her daughter, and her grandson-in-law. I think she died in 1917.

Now, tell me. Isn't that about the most gorgeous turn of the century woman you've ever seen? Not only is she doll-faced, but look at that hair! If a girl wore her hair like that in this day and age, I'd ask her on a date on the spot. It's like Padme Amidala meets Little House on the Prairie.

Now, that having been said... How'd I get so dog-faced!?
