Fly by Night

My apologies, folks. I had originally intended to go to bed prior to 23:00 and get up at 06:30. I was called out for work again shortly after 23:00, and didn't get to bed until about 01:15. That pushed my alarm back to 07:00. For my trouble last night, I'll be getting seventy bucks on next paycheck. On my normal wages, and with my normal hours, it takes me about three days to earn that much money.

Fortuitously enough, I wasn't called back out last night.

I'm off call in twenty minutes, and won't be back on call until Saturday afternoon. My cousin and I are sharing the on-call time, so depending on the final arrangement, I'll be on call for either three or four days in a week and a half.

So, with that first paper done, and not being on call anymore, I'm in a good state of mind to continue working on overdue papers. The next one to be finished will be a ten pager for Professor Benstein on why Caesar invaded Britain. Once that's finished, I'll only have fifty pages left to do. Joy!
