Strategic Review
The Pentagon is reviewing national security strategies that dictate preparedness for two major wars at any given time. When I was in the Navy, it was common knowledge that we remained ready to fight two major wars at any given time. The assumption was that those wars would be in Iraq and North Korea (which is to say, if we absolutely had to, the goal was to be capable of fighting these two major conflicts).
It will be interesting to see what they come up with, if anything, in the way of strategic change. Generally, what they give in the way of information to the public is extremely nebulous, so don't count on a straight report. Just be aware.
