Junichiro Koizumi Kicks Ass

I knew I liked this guy. Junichiro Koizumi, the Japanese Prime Minister, has threatened to hold an election (they can do that in parliamentary governments; don't ask) if his political allies vote against his plans to privatize the Japanese postal service.

That's right, folks: somebody has the testicular fortitude to privatize the postal service. Great Scott! Liberals will condemn it like it's the sky falling, but it's such a good idea!
