Objective Evolutionists

In no way am I supporting attacks on people who disagree with the fundamental ideals I believe in. Those who bomb abortion clinics are just as savage as those who bomb synagogues. Have a look at this story, though. In particular, have a look at this paragraph:

Mirecki had referred to religious conservatives as "fundies," and said a course describing intelligent design as mythology would be a "nice slap in their big fat face." He has apologized for those comments.

This jackass is a professor in Religious Studies in Kansas. Not only is he a colossal moron for saying these inflammatory things in the first place, particularly in Kansas, but he's further demonstration of why I refuse to take most sciece, and evolution in particular, too seriously. If this isn't proof that scientists can be every bit as biased, and that said bias is reflected in their academic lives, then I don't know what is.
